How Does It Work? 
 
-Fish Oil, especially is a rich, natural source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids.  
Marine triglycerides are the Omega 3 fatty acids, one type of essential fatty acid. It is the EPA and DHA (the specific omega 3 fatty acid) that have been shown to be beneficial. EPA has been shown to reduce serum triglycerides, raise the good (HDL) cholesterol and prevent platelet aggregation. Omega 3 is also important for normal growth, especially of the blood vessels and nerves and keeps the skin and tissues youthful and supple.  
Omega 3 is specifically involved in the production of a particular prostaglandin that inhibits inflammation in the body.  
Omega 3 is therefore beneficial for all inflammatory conditions in the body, such as arthritis and skin conditions
