KELP 1200 Kelp is derived from various species of brown algae. Kelp is a natural source of iodine. Iodine is essential for production of thyroid hormones.  
Low iodine leads to weight gain, heavy menstruation bleeding, dry skin, hoarse voice and poor memory. In addition to iodine, Kelp provides potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and other nutrients. Consumption of iodised table salt has decreased in our diet over the years, which has led to an increase in individuals suffering from iodine deficiency.
